Our next getaway - Batam island

Darling and I have a pledge. We will schedule short trip every 3 months. The next upcoming trip will be Batam Island. It's been almost 4 years since my last visit to Batam for business. It was a very rush trip and I didn't really have chance to explore the island. Well, I doubt there were many things for me to explore too at that time. :)

I wonder how this trip will be. We are going to travel free & easy there. I try to google more information about the island but to no avail. What I have is just those very general information about location of the hotel and shopping malls. Aren't there anything else that we can do, other than staying in the hotel? Let darling and I explore it out. Keep a look out on my update. Hehe...
