Last day of 2011

Time really flies. Today is last day of 2011. I guess my greatest achievement in 2011 is to conceive my first baby. I will be entering new chapter of my life in May 2012. It should be very challenging but I truly look forward to it. Hopefully, 2012 will be wonderful for everyone.

What's most important to me now

Every pregnant woman puts on weight like I do. But, this is definitely not what we wish. During pregnancy, we can't exercise aggressively and we must ensure baby gets sufficient nutrition from our food intake, that's why we put on weight. Simple as that.

I am almost 21-week and I have put on 5kg so far. I don't know how much more weight I am going to gain further. The thought of this is making me uneasy. I have been telling myself that my baby's health is the most important thing I gonna care about now not my figure nor my career. I just hope for the same understanding from my hubby. I hope he understands the sacrifices I make for our baby and wish he could show appreciation and respect. That's all I need!

My baby at 4th month

The ultra-sound scan of my baby at his 4th month. Cute? I was so touched the moment I saw this. I couldn't believe that there is a life inside me now. It grew from as small as a sesame seed to this. Life is amazing!

I am back!!

It's been a long while since my last blog. I was as usual busy at work but the real reason for not logging in here was because I couldn't recall my password. What a lame excuse, right?

The time is just right for me to draft my 2012 resolution here. Well, I gonna think what I should make myself to fulfil in 2012. I would plan less for work but more for family. As I age, I realise a woman at my age should not be too career-minded. After all, our family is our greatest happiness of life.

In 2011, Hubby and I went for 2 trips, Hong Kong and Bali. We enjoyed both trips very much and would love to go back there whenever is possible. Within this year, my youngest sister got married. She is currently pregnant for 6 to 7 mths. Her baby boy will meet us in next March. Another piece of good news is from myself. Yes!! I am pregnant too!! It's fifth month soon. The gender has yet been confirmed but will find out real soon on next Friday.

We have shifted in to our new place for more than 1 year. Things are going fine. The only complaint I have for my new place is the distance to workplace and the scarcity of cab in this area.

Overall, 2011 is a good year. I am looking forward to a better 2012 and hoping to meet my little precious darling in next May.

2011 resolution

My 2011 resolutions:

1. Make baby (preferably rabbit baby)

2. Arrange more family gatherings/trips - mother's day, father's day, parents' birthdays, mid-autumn festival, Dong Zhi & Christmas.

3. Achieve or exceed KPIs at work & aim for promotion

4. Make wise investment decisions with targeted 15-20 percent profit

5. Participate in voluntary activities

6. Resume saving habit - we have spent a lot in 2010 for our home and couldn't save much. In 2011, we shall resume our saving habit.

My new shade

It's so hard to find a suitable shade for a round face like mine. And, I finally found this. Shade from Juicy Couture which looks plain from front but stylish from side. Love it!
