The above photo should be self-explanatory regarding what I've got. Yeap, it's iPhone 3G!

We walked in to Hello shop, thinking of registering my name for the iPhone. In the end, we were told that they accepted walk-in customers as well. Then, without hesitation, we immediately bought one on the spot. Darling said I was impulsive shopper. Hehe...dear, I have always been like this...don't you know? :p

Anyway, I am not regret for my decision. It's a great phone indeed. A real 'mobile' phone which allows you to go online wherever you are. A very entertaining phone that keeps you away from boredom during waiting time. You may read ebooks or news. You may listen to music. You may view video from Youtube. You may play games. You may log on to MSN or Yahoo messenger. You may login to Facebook. You may access emails. You may do a lot of things with iPhone 3G!

Have you reserved one with Singtel? I missed it!! :(

In fact, darling actually reserved one for me in his name. A very sweet thought of him that it was meant for a surprise for my birthday present. However, we just checked out with Hello shop and found out that the reservation was not transferable. This means I won't get it... :(

Not giving up yet...we will register in my own name at Hello shop tomorrow...hoping that some reservations will be canceled and I might get the chance to buy one.

My younger brother's graduation :)

This should be the happiest moment for my parents. Their most precious son, my youngest brother, is going to graduate from his college tomorrow. Though it's just a diploma, I am sure the joy my parents have will be greater than my sisters or I obtaining our bachelor degree.

Why my brother is not getting a degree? Not because my parents are biased, just that they feel he is not sensible and independent enough to take care of himself. So, they sent him to Sunway College which is located in JB. They might consider to send him to university in Adelaide as my elder sis is living there. Knowing my parents so well, they will not let him go to somewhere where he will be alone. This shows how precious he is, right? :)

For me, I feel really glad too. Seeing him from a baby till diploma grad, it is truly touching. He's grown up! I hope he can become sensible soon and further his studies within next 2 years. Then, he can begin his life journey. My parents' satisfaction will be even more complete.

I have been so busy this week that I forget to call my parents regarding the timing of his graduation ceremony. I would love to be there to witness the moment. I must call dad tomorrow first thing in the morning... :D

Wedding is off!!!

In the end, the wedding is being called off. K can't overcome his fear for the commitment. That's what J thinks. But I think otherwise. K is just an OLD INDIAN PLAYBOY thought he is already at the age of 44 with a big belly and a bit smelly (that's my impression about Indian).

Besides S, he has been SMS flirting with his female colleague lately. He even confessed that if that lady is not her colleague, he would have slept with her!

I feel glad for J, my friend. This might be heart-breaking moment for her. But, I really rather she sees his true colour than marrying to him blindly. J, you will find a better one. Don't mourn over K as he never deserves you.

I curse the day he was born!!

3 months ago, J happily announced her wedding to us. We were so glad for her that she had finally found her soul mate, K, at her 30's. K was indeed a good catch, holding a high post in an offshore bank and earning approx. S$30K per month. He was charismatic and romantic. Guess how much was the proposal ring? S$30K!!! To good to be true?? Yes, it is!!

2 weeks ago, J received a call from a lady who claimed she was K's 16-year girlfriend. We name her S here. S had been staying with K all these while, but in separate room in his apartment. She revealed that K had been playful during their 16 years relationship. K betrayed her many times and the last time she could remember was K with her best friend. Over the years, K had always had cold feet for marriage and that was why they were not married. Until 3 months ago when she found the certificate of J's diamond ring in K's room, she finally realized that K was going to marry someone else!

J was stunned when she heard from S. She had thought that she was so lucky to meet K in her life. A wonderful man that she really really loved a lot. Even though K had not introduced her to his parents, she still accepted his proposal after being together for 2 years. In this new era, we might not need to seek permission from our parents for marriage, but at least we should inform them and introduce our partner to them, right? It's a manner of respect. But, K didn't. J thought it was because he was too busy with his work schedule and hence delayed again and again. Never she could expect that it was due to the existence of S!

He explained that he had no courage to tell his parents that he was not going to marry S whom they always thought was their future daughter-in-law. So, he had been 'secretly' dating J for the past 2 years yet J didn't notice that at all? They had been to public places together. J even stayed overnight at his place sometimes while S was living at next door? Seriously, I can't believe a man who is so successful in his career can be so fucked up in personal life! He not only messed up his own but another 2 ladies' lives! Scumbag!

The latest update is S has moved out from K's apartment, not totally as she still leaves some of her stuffs there. K promises to bring J to meet his parents tomorrow morning (after dragging again and again) and hope that they can still proceed the wedding as planned. J is half-hearted now and doesn't know if she can trust him again.

I realize I didn't tell you guys that the wedding is scheduled in mid Sept. Do you think it will still be in time?? Sigh...the whole episode reminds me of 'Sex and the city'. K is a real life version of Mr. Big! Honestly speaking, I won't be surprised that he might be the run-away groom on the wedding day if they ever proceed with the wedding...

Returned mail box

This is 3rd or 4th time within last 2 months that the returned mail box at my block is deliberately damaged. I hope the town council is investigating the matter and the culprit will be caught soon. It is rather annoying to see this happening again and again!!

Close the deal!!

He made a right decision in the end. My colleague helped me to contact the customer. He explained to him how the facility could benefit his business and urged him to discuss the details with me rather than avoiding me. In the end, the customer finally agreed to meet up with me. Of course, I wouldn't let the chance go easily. So, I invited my boss to sit in for the meeting. She is always great in closing deal and she succeeded!! Yeah~~ :D I am closer to my target! Gambate! Gambate!! Gambate!!!

Don't regret...

A customer seems like avoiding me after his trade facility has been approved. He was so desperate and enthusiastic initially. I don't know what makes him change his mind so suddenly. I have been trying to talk to him but to no avail. He doesn't pick up my bloody calls!! My patience has reached its limit now.

I am seeing a great offer slipping away from him. I hope he won't regret for his decision after this. His case is very weak. I didn't really expect approval when I submitted it. So, this approval is a miracle and I doubt miracle can happen again. Mr. customer, hope you wake up your mind soon and call me while it is still not too late. Else, OBIGOOD!!!

Water treatment

A useful article to share with you guys...

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. My diet for today

I am quite delighted with my self-control on the diet for today. :)

Breakfast:
2 slices of raisin bread
1 cup of teh-'O'

Lunch:
2 slices of raisin bread
3 cups of plain water

Dinner:
1/2 bowl of plain rice
1/2 serving of stir-fry vegetable
1/2 serving of sweet & sour pork
1/2 salted egg (not considered healthy but it is one of my favourite)

Hmm...If I gonna list down every meal here, I think I will be more disciplined. Hehe... :p

Being molested in a dream

What the hell!! I actually dreamed of that!! Being molested by my male customer...a dirty old man. So disgusting...

I felt quite uneasy with my first meeting with this customer. He talked a lot and more ridiculously he talked about sex topic with me. I don't know how you gals would handle this but I was too shocked to respond then. I let him go on. Super dumb, right? Luckily, I got his business in return for the sacrifice.

Recently, I contacted him for business again. He didn't talk about sex this time. But, he always found excuses to ask me out for meals. During the meals, I tactfully kept a certain distance from him. Whenever he came closer, I would shun. That was really stressful. Well...after all, I protected myself rather well in the end. But, to think I would dream of being molested by him! :( Remarkably, I was braver than my usual self in the dream. I scolded him loudly. I stared at him fiercely and told him that he found wrong target!

I told some friends about this dream. They warned me to be more careful if going out with customers, especially him. Haha...know what? I am going to meet him for lunch again tomorrow as I need him to introduce his company secretary to me. Sigh...钱真难赚！:(

Hey...you've put on weight!

Sad and shameful to announce here...but I really put on some weight since last year. Nobody to blame but myself as I have been quite lax in managing my diet.

2 weeks ago when I met my landlord for signing the 2nd year lease contract. She bluntly said this to me "You have put on weight. This means the Feng Shui of this unit is quite good. You know, all my previous tenants put on weight after they shifted in." Seriously, I never really think put on weight is a good thing to me!! I felt rather down after her comment. Another day, darling's friend also felt that I had put on some weight ever since we last met. My god! I can't take it anymore...I hate this line... :(

I always tell darling that I wanna lose weight. He always says he likes 'fleshy' gal. He has a very traditional thinking that a 'fleshy' girlfriend will bring good luck to him. Though I put on weight, he says he prefers me this way as I look healthier now. Is that so, darling? Can I continue putting more weight? Is that what you want?? Tell me...

Whatever it is, I have decided to control my diet. I really mind every word that people say about my weight. So, I must lose weight fast fast fast!!
