Le Cabaret Night

Standard Chartered Le Cabaret Night on 12-Dec-2008 at Suntec Convention Centre

My lunch kaki - Liping & Joey (we did try to rent cabaret costumes at first. however, we were too late. most nice costumes had been rented out. so, we were left with limited choices and those costumes were really CMI. therefore, we decided to just dress up with some accessories. hmm...we might not be exaggerating enough...i think we were not bad though.)

Ladies (wow....so colourful!!)

The lucky man - Shawn and his act-cool pose :p

Another lucky chap - Jerrod

Our vainpot 'sister' - Mark!! He was the best dressed guy in our team.

ETS Team A

Our table number (too bad it was only 3 digit...if not, we can buy 4D! wahaha...)

Cold dish!! One of my favourite dish for the dinner...another one was the crispy roasted chicken...also the fried rice...and the dessert too! Overall, all dishes were great. So yummy!! It was one of the best dinner among all the D&D that I had attended. Where are the photos of other dishes?? Hehe...my camera and I was too busy with photo-taking session then. :p

Taken with big boss - Stephen (Guess which one is the boss? Hints: bosses usually do not need to squat and are always standing in the centre. Got it?)

Yum Seng!!!

OMG! What are they doing?!

Shawn suggested this pose and surprisingly I agreed to it! Crazy....

With Thomas - I love this shot as I looked slimmer in this photo

Just myself here...see how purplish I was...even the heels, hair clip & earrings! haha... :D

I have 2 more parties to attend this Thursday and Friday...more partying photos to be uploaded. Stay tuned...

Team trip - Bangkok

Our team went to Bangkok for a 4D3N retreat in end Oct. We flew with Jetstar Asia and checked in Ramada D'MA Bangkok hotel. Each person cost about S$448, which S$300 was subsidized by Standchart and we topped up S$148.

Ramada D'MA Bangkok hotel should be a 3.5 star hotel. We paid for 2 nights and got our 3rd night for free, inclusive of buffet breakfast. I think it was a good bargain. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is great too as it takes only 5-10 mins taxi ride to the shopping belt.

We went to Jatuchak for whole day shopping on our 2nd day. My boss was crazy about the place. He spent most of his time at the antique/woodcraft corners. Other colleagues shopped more for the clothing and accessories. I didn't spend much there as my previous experience telling me that the cheap clothing would not be of durable quality.

The itinerary for 3rd day was shopping as well. For gals, it was the BRA day! All of us, except Joey who couldn't find her extremely large size (38D), we all bought about 8 pairs of bra. Sometimes, it is lucky to be small. Hahaha...

Half-time @ Central World

3 of us cam whoring in the toilet!

We had a sumptuous meal at a famous Chinese restaurant located at China Town on our last night. We had shark fins, suckling pig, seafood and bird nest. The meal was rather reasonably priced. (photos to be uploaded soon...)

Fortunately, there was no riot during our stay in Bangkok. We enjoyed the trip very much and look forward to the next trip! :)

Late payments!! :(

It has been consecutive 2 months that I have been forgetting to pay my bills.

Last month, I received 2 late payment reminders. One from SP services and another from Singtel. Luckily, the charge is only S$0.50. One more late payment but I didn't get the chance to be reminded which is the credit card bill. Late charge S$40!! Ironically, it was from my bank!!@#$%*

Just now, I remembered that I haven't cleared my phone bills again. Oh gosh...I should just apply Giro for all bill payments. I will do it next week...I swear!!
