Hong Kong Trip - Day 1

My family and I went to Hong Kong and Macau during CNY. Our first time to Hong Kong! This was a free & easy tour. We booked air tickets, arranged hotels and planned itinerary ourselves. It was not as perfect as professionally planned. Overall, we were still happy with ourselves. :p First day, we touched down at Macau International Airport. Quickly, we rushed to the jetty to catch the ferry to Hong Kong. The ferry took about 1.5-2 hr. All of us caught a nap during the journey, to conserve energy!

We arrived at Kowloon ferry terminal, which was nearer to our hotel, Stanford Hillview Hotel located at Tsim Sha Tsui. We had our first night out shopping at Nathan Road after dinner. The shops were opened for business till late, around 12 or 1 am. No wonder people always say it is a shopping paradise. :) We ended our first day around 1:30am, satisfactorily.
