I made a call to an idiot this morning. It was meant to ask him for top up for his existing loan. After explaining the details and procedure to him, I asked him when I could collect relevant documents from him. Cheapskate as he was, he asked if he would get any free gift if he signed up the loan with me. I told him that it was not our practice for business banking dept but I could offer him our organizer and calendar out of goodwill. However, as greedy as he was, he said it was very insincere of me. Apparently, he wanted something with greater value!
Hey boss, do you know how much I earn from your loan? It is miserable 1% for my overall target, ok? Do you think I am that stupid to buy you something out from my pocket just to get this small deal? You must be out of mind!!
I insisted that there wouldn't be any free gift. He then said that my colleague also called him for the loan top up earlier on, even earlier than me. He claimed that my colleague promised a free gift like consumable product. Out of doubt, I probed further. He revealed the identity of the salesperson to me. I had no idea which dept and which branch she was from. I then told him that I would check with my boss later if there was really a promotional campaign ongoing which was not to my knowledge yet. He then felt panic. He accused me that I was trying to spoil the salesperson's trick. I denied but he went on with his accusation by making such statement that "You are very bad! If you are unable to close this sales, you also shouldn't report her to your boss...you are mean!" Hey hey...Hello!!! Do you think I am that free to care about this kind of unscrupulous salesperson. This kind of people are just like worms to me. I can't be bothered with them, ok?
Seriously, I never like to deal with customer like this. For a moment, I felt like hanging up on him. I was just wasting my breath and precious time talking to a worthless customer. I stressed to him that bankers are not supposed to entice customers with presents and we are also not supposed to accept presents from customers for any reason. I told him that I didn't wanna comment about the way that salesperson closing her deals but I definitely would not choose to be like her. I have integrity. You know what he responded? I almost exploded due to that! He said "You do not have business ethic and people like you can't go far!". Fucking hell...who gave him the rights to curse people?? Who the fuck he thinks he is?? Fucker!
We ended the conversation unpleasantly. He threatened that he wanted to complain to my boss as he thought I was rude. For all I care! I gave him the number and hang up. He thought I would apologize or fear? No way, I still think I am right! You may complain to CEO or Prime Minister or President or even to God. For people who has done nothing wrong, we have nothing to be afraid of!!

but i think it's really common to meet this kinda people in the sales line... morons who think they are so damn smart! what fucking right does he have to judge you when he is the cheapskate asking for all the freebies and naming the other salesperson?!?
don't bother about morons like him... don't let him put you down!
you what's the best? after complaining so much, he still wanna sign up with me instead of another gal! haha...so in the first place, did the gal really offer freebies??? this person's integrity is really questionable. i told my boss tat i dun want to handle his case anymore. people like him dun deserve my service! :D
he's trying to pull a fast one on you... trying his luck! you're right, he's got no integrity!
